Hello Simmers, Hope everyone are ok. I'm plannig a new build 90% for MSFS2020 connected to a 35 UW Monitor, LG35WN65C (3440x1440). Latter i don't know yet if i will change it for a 4K 50"Tv, but for now it's this. I saw a lot of threads and some youtube videos and i reached 2 builds and now i need to understand pros and cons of eah one. Build 1: Intel i9 12900KF Corsar 4000D Airflow Corsair H115i Capellix Corsair RMx 1000w Corsair Vengeance Pro SL 4x16GB 300Mhz Cl18 DDR4 Gigabyte Z690 Aorus Elite DDR4 Gigabyte RTX 3080TI Gaming OC Seagate Barracuda 4TB Corsair ML140mm Pro (x2) It's better to stay on DDR4 memories and save some money ou go to DDR5 (more expensive)? Build 2: AMD Ryzen 3800X3D Corsar 4000D Airflow Corsair H115i Capellix Corsair RMx 1000w Corsair Vengeance Pro SL 4x16GB 300Mhz Cl18 DDR4 for AMD MSI MEG B550 Unify-X (Used but with warranty from a store in my country) Gigabyte RTX 3080TI Gaming OC Seagate Barracuda 4TB Corsair ML140mm Pro (x2) So 12900k ou 3800X3d? What do you think simmers? NOTE: i have 1 ssd m.2 WD SN750 Nvme 1TB and 1 ssd m.2 Kingston A2000 512gb to install in the new build. Thank you in advance for your opinions. Regards, Ricardo

Hello Simmers, Anyone here simulate with a Lenovo Legion 5 Pro laptop? 5800h, 32gb Ram, RTX3070 144w are the main specs and i have the laptop connected to a LG35 inch monitor 3440x1440 resolution. I am having problems with FPS and not stable at least with 30 fps. Can you folks share here your display settings of MSFS2020? Thank You Regards, Ricardo

Hello guys, I need some help and advices. I need to buy a new laptop (it has to be laptop), and i'm in doubt about 2 models: - MSI GS40 - i7 6700HQ and GTX970M 3GB or - MSI GS43VR - i7 6700HQ and GTX 1060 6GB The GS43Vr model is 400€ more expensive and my big question is: GS43VR worth 400€ more? Or in another words, i will have a great benefit in FSX/FSX:SE/P3D buying GS43VR instead of GS40? Regards Ricardo

Guys, you ara fantastic. Thanks for every tip. I will make a stupi question (i think). I have in my living room a 50" Philips LED FullHD and i'm thinling to buy a new 55 or 60". Can i use this LED and conect it to the new computer? FSX or Prepar3d will have any problema with this Philips? I don't know the correct model, i'm away of my country because i work in Angola, but i'm sure that it's a LED FullHD. Regards, Ricardo

Hello again! Thank you all for your advices. I think i have the final configuration. I don't buy any monitor for now, i have an LG 24" IPS LED at home, and i want to build multi-monitor (3 max). So i will keep that LG for now and later i upgrade with time for the 3 monitors. Final configuration: - CPU: intel i7 6700k - 379€ - Mobo: Asus Z170 Pro Gameing - 146€ - RAM: Gskill RipjawsV DDR4 2800 (2x8GB) - 83,95€ - GPU: Asus GeForce GTX970 Strix OC 4GB DDR5 - 369€ - MidTower: Corsair Carbide 100R Silent Edition - 58,70€ - Power Supply: Seasonic M12II 620W Evo 80+ - 96,95€ - SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB Sata3 - 152€ - HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200rpm - 62,95€ - DVDRW: Asus DVDRW 24x - 12,95€ Total price near 1400€. It's missing the cooler. What do you recommend?

Hello to everyone. I'm going to buy my new computer exclusive for FSX and Prepar3d. So, i read a lot, in a Portuguese Forum and heres in AvSim. I would like to know what's your opinion about this: - CPU: intel i7 6700k - 379€ - Mobo: Msi Z170A Pro Gamer - 150€ - RAM: Gskill RipjawsV DDR4 2800 (2x8GB) - 83,95€ - GPU: Gigabyte GTX970 Windforce 3x 4GB DDR5 - 339€ - MidTower: Corsair Carbide 100R Silent Edition - 58,70€ - Power Supply: Seasonic M12II 620W Evo 80+ - 96,95€ - SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB Sata3 - 152€ - HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200rpm - 62,95€ - DVDRW: Asus DVDRW 24x - 12,95€ - Monitor: Dell S2715H 27" LED - 279€ It costs aprox. 1630€. I have a budget of 1800€. I have some doubts: 1st: Buying GTX980 6GB instead GTX970 i will have more fps in the FSX? 2nd:i7 6700k with Z170 Mobo or 4790k with z97 Mobo? I will not going to overclock it for now. Thanks to all of you. Ricardo Carpinteiro
