Hello, so I  am new repainting and I'm trying to repaint the 747-800 from PMDG but need some help.

1. How do I select just the colors from the master fuselage file and place them in the appropriate file in the paint kit and get them to line up? For example I need to copy the front section from master fuselage file and paste it into the fuselage1 file from the paint kit.

2. Does it matter if a little paint goes outside the section that is read by the sim. I am using the polygonal lasso tool to draw around the edge of the plane to make a selection to paint but sometimes it's hard to bee %100 accurate.

1. There are vertical guides for make a square selection for every fuselage section (make needed selection, merge all layers, copy and then paste to your fuse1 or fuse2...

 

2.It does't matter. In every case you can do an experiment)
