April 10, 200620 yr Here is a small thing but would be nice :) In pre-FS2002 versions, controller assignment sections in the fs2000.cfg file were listed by controller names. In FS2002.cfg that got changed to a handle (I guess GUID). As a result it is more difficult to find the appropriate section for a specific controller, especially in a multi-controller enviroment. I have also ahd situations were for some reason the GUID of a specific controller changed, resulting in a new controller assignment section in FS9.cfg which caused strange behaviour until I realized what happened and copied over my modified assignments to the new controller handle. scott s..
April 11, 200620 yr The GUID is more reliable in case an updated driver changes the name. No changes with that, although the assignments will now be in a separate XML file.
