Well Balanced rig? P3d and in the future X-Plane 11

Hello simmers,

I order this components to build my new system. Now i have to wait 4-5 days until receive everything.

  • CORSAIR CARBIDE SPEC-06 RGB BLACK
  • SEASONIC FOCUS+ 650W GOLD 
  • NOCTUA NH-D15S 
  • INTEL I5 9600K
  • Asus PRIME Z390-A
  • Asus GeForce® GTX 1660 Ti Dual OC 6GB
  • TeamGroup 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3200MHz Dark Pro 8Pack Edition CL14
  • SSD Gigabyte 512GB M.2 NVMe
  • SSD Gigabyte 120GB SATA III
  • SSD CRUCIAL MX300 500GB (from my actual Laptop)
  • LG 29WK600 Ultrawide monitor

What do you think? P3d will run good? X-Plane?

I think it's a nice system...  As long as your using a 1080P monitor you'll be fine.

I think a 6GB 1660Ti will drive a 1440p monitor just fine as well...in the past I've used a 6GB 980Ti to drive a 2560x1600 display to good effect and without any real compromises.

For P3D I think so.  For XP11....that thing eats vram for breakfast...especially with addons.  I'd go 8 as a min
