Set up a poll

When I open a new post I see two tabs: content and poll, side by side (using Chrome and W7).

To set up a poll :

- Does one write a content in the first tab then move to the poll tab, write the question and submit, both content and poll being published a the same time in the same thread ?

- Or does one have to set up a poll, submit/publish it and then write an explanatory content in a  first answer ?

Sorry for my dumb question but in the forums I've known opening a poll was someting you did within the topic content window as an option to add.

I have never set up a poll but I clicked on Content tab first, said something about the poll then went to poll questions and asked the questions.  You have two hours to edit.  If you want it deleted to start over again, just click on "Report Post" and tell our moderators.

OK Jim thank you. I understand both content and question are published at the time then.

As far as I know yes.  Members can then vote and post a reply.
