RXP GNS and ForeFlight

In addition, I always use ForeFlight when I fly in the real world and when I fly with X-Plane 11. Very recently, for some strange reason, when I use ForeFlight with X-Plane 11 my location keeps switching back and forth from my real world location to the location I’m flying in X-Plane 11 on a very frequent and extremely annoying basis. Sometimes ForeFlight won’t even recognize or follow my location on X-Plane 11. This is new and started recently. In the past I never had such problems, ForeFlight worked perfectly with X-Plane 11. I have recently installed RealityXP on my computer for X-Plane 11 and was wondering if this could be causing this problem? Have you ever heard of RealityXP interfering with ForeFlight and X-Plane 11 like this? I contacted ForeFlight and we did all the troubleshooting we could and we were unable to resolve this issue. They where unable to find any problems on their side. What is going on? How can I fix this? Please help!

Hi,

The RXP plugin will never interfere as long as you don't open any RXP device.

However, once open, it overrides the X-Plane GPS (obviously) and when doing so, the stock GPS no longer updates. Therefore, if ForeFlight is using some form of X-Plane GPS lat/lon datarefs, instead of raw aircraft lat/lon datarefs, there is a great chance it won't work...
