Not sure of the extent of your question about using GNS and GTN together.  They can be used together in an aircraft.  If you have the Reality GNS 530, you actually have two GNS gauges, GNS 530_1 and GNS530_2.  If you purchase the GTN 750 you will also have two gauges, GTN 750_1 and GTN 750_2.

I have a couple of aircraft in which I have a GTN and also a GNS.  They both work fine and do not interfere with each other.  The limitation is that regardless of whether you use say (2) GNS gauges in one aircraft, or (2) GTN gauges in an aircraft; or (1) GTN and (1) GNS; one gauge must be a "_1" and the other a "_2".  For example: GTN 750_1  and GTN 750_2; or, GTN 750_1 and GNS 530_2, and so on.

There is no cross feed between the GNS series and the GTN series.  So if you enter a flight plan into the GTN, that flight plan is not also crossfed into the GNS.  If you want the flight plan in both you must enter it into both separately.  I just use the two gauges for different purposes, such as using the GTN for the flight plan and using the GNS for traffic. etc.
