July 3, 20196 yr I`m asking for some advice. I recently had my computer rebuilt & upgraded to MS Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. As such, when I went re-install FSX and activate it, it activates the first 2 disks, but wont activate the acceleration pack causing FSX to operate as a trial version only. If I could get some help with this problem it be greatly appreciated.
July 4, 20196 yr Administrators Do a Google search for FSX PartMgr. That is a change that you have to do in your computer's registry. Welcome to the AVSIM forums. 1. run regedit (Windowskey +R) 2. Expand the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\CONTRO L\CLASS\{4D36E967- E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} 3. After you find the folder, double-click Upperfilters on the right side. 4. Change the value from 0 to PartMgr and/or remove any other settings and then click OK. 5. Close Registry Editor 6.
