Hello. I have 1000+ hours in X-Plane and have successfully installed 9 Carenado planes. I am trying to learn FSX and have purchased Alabeo C400_Corvalis_TT and extracted it to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\Alabeo C400_Corvalis_TT - I can launch the plane - white only - It's not running, I cannot make it run and the floor is missing.

Have I not installed it correctly? Does it need to be activated as would be in X-Plane and if so, how do I do that?

I'm not sure if you've gotten your issue sorted out yet but Carenado/Alabeo planes for FSX/P3D are auto installers.  Once  you type your credentials into the installer, as opposed to the extract option, click on the "Run" option.  You will then get several options as to what platform it is that you would like to install in it.  Choose FSX Steam.  If the auto-installer doesn't automatically locate it, then choose your location that you posted in your post.  This should take care of the problem for you😊
