GTN750 Database???

Featured Replies

Just as a sanity check (at least my own), I just want to verify that the term "database" that has been used over and over recently here does not refer to the only two databases that are identified as databases and listed in the GTN750 "System Status" selection of the "System" screen on the actual GTN750. On my Carenado PC-12 those two databases appear to be the same prior to my successful upgrade to Main Software Version: 6,62.0 TRNG and GPS/WAAS SWVer 99.9.

So therefore can I assume that after the upgrade to 6.62 the navigation db will still be WW-ADB2 cycle 1809 16AUG18 and the Basemap db will still be Ver. 18M1 13MAR18?

Thank you,

Daskal

Maybe I'll ask the same question a different way:

Does the trainer upgrade to 6.62 upgrade the AIRAC cycle as well?

Hi,

yes with cycle 1809 and including US+CAN charts.

I thought I already had 1809 so okay if I didn't then fine as per my original post it is 1809 that is now loaded so it appears I am up to date as per available Garmin trainer databases. Thank you.

Are there plans to broker a deal with Garmin to a subscription service to update AIRACs continually?

Hi, like I've said in the past I'll personally look at the DB update question right after we're done releasing all our announced Garmin products (G600/500 remaining).

Rgr that...didn't see that section, but to be honest I didn't look that hard either. Thanks for the info.
