You can enable a line that's showing the aircraft track ahead of the icon (Map Display, tree on the right in User Aircraft -> Track Line) like that: . Or you can enable the compass rose (View -> Show Compass Rose) which show tracks, heading, crab angle and much more stuff. All configurable in the same settings tree mentioned above.
