August 27, 20196 yr Hi a few questions Firstly, with LLTX - realtraffic do I need the simulator running? Secondly, I cannot connect to realtraffic, and it states (waiting for realtraffic to connect). Rgds Paul Thanks Paul www.airlinephoto.co.uk
August 27, 20196 yr Commercial Member Hello Paul, both applications, the RealTraffic client and the Simulator, should be running. Autoconnect is part of the next version of LLTX. Make sure that RealTraffic is set up like this (Simulator Host IP is "localhost", the Simulator Port is "10747"): Best regards Edited August 27, 20196 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI

Are you sitting in the cockpit when you start LLTX? Doublecheck that setting and that the sim isn't paused by something else. Best regards Edited August 27, 20196 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
August 27, 20196 yr Author P3Dv4. It was in fact paused 😩. I only use realtraffic so never use the simulator. LLTX is still says waiting for realtraffic to connect Thanks Paul www.airlinephoto.co.uk

If you are not using the simulator, what is LLTX supposed to do? Are both RT and LLTX running on the same computer? Sometimes RT gets stuck and must be restarted. And it can take a couple of seconds (up to 30) until the connection is recognized Best regards LORBY-SI
August 27, 20196 yr Author Sorry I mean I never fly. Its for my live stream of JFK. Yes I have live AI traffic at JFK 129 live and 56 parked on PSX, and on the same PC Thanks Paul www.airlinephoto.co.uk
August 27, 20196 yr Commercial Member Then there is no reason why it shouldn't work. Antivirus/Firewall? Sorry again, but I never had to troubleshoot connection issues between RT and LLTX. It just works and a question like this just never came up (in two years now). If all the network parameters are correct (IP, Port) there is nothing to stop it from connecting. I am scratching my head as to why it wouldn't work for you. What happens when you switch to the OpenSky Network as datasource?. Edit: and what aircraft are you sitting in when you start LLTX? The connection will only be established when everthing works correctly on the SimConnect end. Edited August 27, 20196 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
August 27, 20196 yr Author It loads aircraft and works straight away Thanks Paul www.airlinephoto.co.uk

August 27, 20196 yr Commercial Member 10 minutes ago, jobepilot said: With opensky data it works fully Right. OK, so SimConnect is good. I am at a loss here. LLTX will accept RT data from any IP address on port 10747. This isn't really a "connection", just a Listener. When data is received on this port, the "waiting..." dialog closes (or rather, it is supposed to close). Please check the port number again in RT, and if there is an LLTX logfile in \Documents\LorbyLiveTraffic_P3D_V4 Files. And if there is, I suggest that you send it to me by email. Address is on the last page of the manual. Best regards Edited August 27, 20196 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
