FSX-MS AIG Traffic

I've been importing a bunch of AIG flight plans into FSX over the past few months.  Not an easy task, but during the process I found a great app titled AI Companion on the AIG forum.  It was designed primarily for P3Dv4, but still usable with some restrictions in FSX. 

Today the author released a FSX version that enabled the Live traffic view. Note: This only works with BGL traffic files and therefore isn't useful for UTL or UT2.

An updated version of AI Companion is now available on the Alpha-India Group's website.

The update adds the View AI Aircraft feature that was previously unavailable to FSX users.  No docs, but it really doesn't need them.

Note:  The Live Traffic view may work with UTL, UT2, and other live traffic injectors, but the bulk of the features are designed for those of us who use BGL traffic files such as the default FSX, AIG, MyTraffic, Traffic Global. etc.

Pretty remarkable as the author doesn't have FSX.

FYI, the author posted another update to AI Companion.

There is a separate version for FSX, so make sure you get the correct one.  Current file is AI_Companion_FSX_20191019.

If you're a user of AI Companion, then an update has been posted on AIG.

If you're not, then my recommendation is to take a look at it.  Similar to the payware SuperTrafficBoard, but includes some added features.

The program is primarily designed for BGL format AI traffic such as default, MyTraffic, TrafficGlobal, etc.

Many thanks for the headsup, Ernie. It's proved to be a pretty useful tool for identifying some of the few model/texture problems in AIG, which seems to be getting better and better...but I'm absolutely hating Windows 10!

Another update to AI Companion has been posted to AIG Forum.

This one includes a f'ing amazing stats feature. 

As always, the application including the stats feature is intended for BGL based AI traffic, such as FSX default, MyTraffic, Traffic Global, Orbx Freeware, etc.

Some features such as the Live Traffic will likely work with injected traffic addons such UTL, UT2, etc., but your mileage may vary.

No install necessary, just download, unzip and run. 

The author isn't asking for donations, but if you do download and like then give him some love via  a message in the appropriate thread on the AIG forums.
