What's the general consensus on this setting...

 

I notice that, when this setting is enabled, thunderstorms appear more realistic, in that when flying through one you don't get the spotty clouds with sun shining through.

 

Is it worth the FPS hit?

I have this option checked.  I think it’s worth it.  I also have REX 4 installed so it looks very nice.
