Zibo 737X FMS and Airways

Featured Replies

Hi Aviators!

I have recently installed the excellent Zibo mod trying to get familiar with the aircraft.

Using Simbrief for flightplanning I am trying to punch in the flightplan like so:

ANEK9L ANEKI Y163 HERBI Y164 MOPAN/N0442F350 Y164 OLBEN/N0448F370 UN869 NEMOS DCT GVA DCT BALSI UN852 VERSO UL129 LUNIK LUNI2P

As far as I understand, the waypoints go on the right of the page, while on the left I put either DCT or the airway.  However, having entered HERBI on the right and trying to enter Y163 on the left will change the already inserted HERBI to PABLA (which is the waypoint before HERBI).

FMS data are current and consistent with Simbrief (also current AIRAC).

Any idea what I am doing wrong please?

Also, I would appreciate if someone could guide me to how to enter the step climb in the FMS (MOPAN/N0442F350) at a certain waypoint.

Thanks a lot for your help!

You enter the airway first followed by the last waypoint on the airway you want to fly to. If there's no airway, just enter the waypoint on the right. On the real FMC you can enter the next airway and it will populate the intersection automatically. Never tried it on the Zibo.

Checkout flightdeck2sim on YouTube. He's an active 738 pilot and technical advisor to Zibo. Lots of tutorials on his channel.

If Simbrief can export to XP's FMC format, just do that, save the file in "X-Plane 11\Output\FMS plans" and then access it as a company route in the 738's FMS.
