October 1, 20196 yr It's been a while since this question was asked (as far as I'm aware, please don't grill me if it hasn't), but I was wondering if there would be any chance of an -ER coming to the 777, since the -LRs are being phased out in many airlines (Example being BA, who have three, G-ZZZA, G-ZZZB and G-ZZZC, which are to be replaced by -300ERs) and the -ERs are still going strong, so this would be a valued update to the 777 line of products.
October 1, 20196 yr For starters, British Airways never had the -200LR. In fact, very few airlines did, as only 59 were delivered. In any event, PMDG moved their forums, so it's not likely you'll get a response here. Captain Kevin Air Kevin 124 heavy, wind calm, runway 4 left, cleared for take-off. October 2, 20196 yr LunarCow- Even though the pure -200's are fast disappearing RSR confirmed in the PMDG forums that the -ER will come eventually, but was very clear that timing is not something he'll estimate. In terms of the product lines the 777 is still rather young and, while still considered important, the -ER expansion falls well below some other projects currently in place (for comparison the NG is over 15 years old in terms of original version). So, unfortunately for us -ER fans it's still alive but not something we can expect "soon". Dan Dominik "I thought you said your dog does not bite.... That's not my dog."
