September 7, 200619 yr I had my first serious CTD today. I'm very worried. I hope its not going to become a recurring theme. The error was caused by NTD.DLLHas anyone else had a similar experience and do you know what caused it and/or know how to prevent it? 🛫
September 7, 200619 yr Dont be worried, I get that same error sometimes. A good old reboot and it vanishes. :)
September 7, 200619 yr >Just curious, do you have Onboard sound that uses the Realtek>AC 97 Driver?I do indeed. Was thinking of buying a separate soundcard to free up some resources...I'm really hoping that this doesn't keep happening. The thought of reinstalling everything makes me feel sick. Thanks for your encouraging words ThrottleUp. I'm gonna do the same flight again and see what happens.I was using the PSS/iIFDG merge airbus a320, activesky6 and RC4 if that helps. 🛫
September 7, 200619 yr Realtek just upgraded the AC97 driver so maybe that will fix your problem.http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/dlac97...8&Software=TrueRegards,JimYoung
May 14, 200719 yr Hi Guys,I suspect that my CTD may be being caused by this blasted Realtek Driver. I have noticed in the past that it caused my computer to crash. What exactly is this driver and how can I COMPLETELY make sure it is not on my system NB I have looked in device manager but do not see it there, does this mean its not on my system?Paul
