Departure Time in Flight Timers

Featured Replies

Hello

I've noticed that Departure Time in Flight Timer menu doesn't work in new updates (v2.5.20.3 for supporting Prepar3D V4.5 Hotfix2 autopilot).

It not respond to neither Criteria (In Air or Power on). Always showing 00:00:00.

It works in previous versions.

Hi,

Thank you for the report.

Is this with any aircraft or are you using one in particular?

We'll look at this and let you know.

Hi,

sorry for late replay, but it seams that you were on right track.

It is not working only with one free addon airplane (DOUGLAS C-47R SKYTRAIN V3.14). Beside Departure Time in Flight Timer menu, also I've noticed that clock in System - Setup under Date/Time is not working either. It showing 00:00:00.

It is working on all others plane addon I have.

Tnx

This is peculiar because this would seem to indicate this aircraft is causing the simulator clock to not function!??! As if it was 'pausing' the whole sim?

In this case you might want to try configuring the GTN to use the computer clock instead.

Nevertheless, the flight timers are not related to these clocks at all so there is still something not right. Since my message I've done a few more reviewing of the code and there is a few edge cases which might exactly 'lock' the timers.

We're currently evaluating another way to implement them but I'd be honest this is quite low priority for now, but it is not forgotten and in our todo list.
