September 9, 200619 yr Hey Holger, The more I fly around and see that terrible desert texture, the more I think it's a good texture but not where it is & I bet the proper landclass would correct this situation.
September 9, 200619 yr I sure hope that this beta doesn't signify the real release. What I have seen from the beta tells me to stay with fs9 for awhile. What I have seen from other screenshots primilary the first ones I thought FSX will blow the socks off of fs9. So which is it. It seems that there is an excellent FSX program out there that is all teasing us, and the beta that looks like fs98/2000 ish in some respects. Also I haven't got any straight answers about the high detailed airports having satelite or this plain grass that looks kinda ugly with a highly detailed airport. That's one thing FS9 did do very nicely. I hope it will carry over to FSX but I not holding my breath by some of the responses. Any info would be appreciated.Thank You,Kurt.
September 9, 200619 yr Kurt, I can unequivocally state that as soon as you/anyone get FSX on a system and adjust it to run as smooth as it can that there is no going back to 2004. EDIT: <-- Other than the people that just can't do without an addon that won't be available in FSX.It's just the issues here and there that we *HOPE* are resolved to make it 100%. But in all around competition with previous versions, there is none, FSX wins by a landslide.I've been on quite a bit of multiplayer/single flights/shared cockpits and the issues that I end up noticing other than incorrect textures here and there have been said to be fixed by ACES. I don't have the final, but I know I can't wait to get it!
