Smoke textures in multiplayer?

Featured Replies

Does anybody know if it is possible for smoke issuing from multiplayer a/c to display on the screen - A team of Aerobats have been formed over at Vista Oz and the first thing we realise is that we can't see one another's smoke trails :(Barry

ABSOLUTELY Barry! This is one thing you see all the time in the multiplayer sessions I've been in. People doing their own private airshows with a nice smoke trail and some trying to fly in unison. :-lol It's very very cool. Also about multiplayer, I just finished a 2 hour flight from gate to gate sitting in the right seat of the 737 from KBDL to KMKE. Being able to talk freely in the cockpit with each other as well as pushing the mic button to transmit all while doing checklists. It was *EXTREMELY* fun and I can't wait for an aircraft with full real world procedures! On a side note, I'd like to get a nice B-17 and 15 other people to take off and formation fly. Since the sounds are great and I can feel other planes close to me through my subwoofer, 64 engines rumbling would be quite spectacular. Not to mention each aircraft can hold 2 pilots as well! :-jumpy

Thanks for that Carmine -- but how is it done? Right now we all fly the same a/c - but we are not seeing each others smoke. We are using FSInn to connect to multiplayer.Barry

Hey Barry, I was under the impression you were asking about FSX, sorry about that. Under FS2004, I didn't do any multiplayer since it never appealed to me.
