October 18, 20196 yr Hi, Does anyone know if it is possible to manually add an approach by editing an xml file or some other way with the 530? There is a Horizon Air RNP approach into KSUN that I'd love to be able to add. After all it is a sequence of waypoints based on coordinates.
October 19, 20196 yr This isn't possible. All procedures are contained in the Garmin database which cannot be modified. David Porrett
November 10, 20196 yr Hi, how old is the Garmin db that is used? I've been flying (RW) a G1000 and a G430 and they both have LNAV approaches that are not on my FSX SE that has the (superb) RXP 430 installed. As far as I am aware the approaches have been there for a few years. Happy landings! SCF
