October 26, 20196 yr Hi everyone, I had a computer die on me about a year ago and I am not in a position to replace it right now with something made for flight simming :( That being said I have a Surface Book 2 through work which has a GTX 1050 graphics card and a i7 8650u processor. Is there any chance this can run p3d decently? Most of my flying is the pmdg 738. I do have add-on scenery etc too. I just dont want the heavy start of installing ,tweaking, etc. only to find out I get 3 fps and it is unusable. Even though its a work computer there is no problem putting legitimate software on it
October 26, 20196 yr Hey, P3D gives 1 fps on Surface Pro 4 (intel video card - can never major 3d, but it does dos games good lol) but you have a Surface Book 2 with dedicated video card - and you have 1050 - I do not see why P3D will not run, infact it should run pretty good. Install it and see it. Just do base install first and test it out. Even I am curious to find out. You have i7 with 1050gtx - looks good Edited October 26, 20196 yr by Skywolf How I Evaluate Third Party Sim Addon Developers Refined P3Dv5.0 HF2 Settings Part1 (has MaddogX) and older thread Part 2 (has PMDG 747)
