Removing default aircraft from AI flightplans

Featured Replies

Just loaded up a new computer and got everything working pretty well, but I must have combined flight plans. I have mine which I've set up and they're doing fine. Also got AI aircraft flying around that are FS default aircraft. A Caravan Amphibian in Dallas???I'm sure I need to delete something but don't want to tamper with the wrong thing. Which traffic file has to go?Thanks

Hi,The default traffic is contained in traffic030528.bgl. Rename it to something like traffic030528.bgl.orig (cannot end in .bgl) and the default traffic will be gone. You'll find it in the SceneryWorldscenery folder.Keep in mind that this removes the default GA traffic too - if you want that, then download and install the GA half of the several "split files" available here.Hope this helps,--Tom GibsonCal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.comFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.comDrop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___

A Caravan Amphibian in Dallas???Since Dallas is surrounded by lakes - though most of them are very low now in the 20th month of a massive drought - you'd be surprised how many amphibians are based at DFW area airports.I see three to a half-dozen parked at KADS almost every day. Haven't seen any Caravans - but several Cessna and Maule.I'm still trying to find who has the Beaver - I see it on landing occasionally - can't miss that radial engine.
