September 17, 200619 yr I took a bite out of the proverbial bullet and bought CS's 757 blocks, that is to say the updated version of Block B, the 300 expansion pack, the sound package, and the ACE configurator. Purchase and install went smoothly, with no hiccups. Simulator started up with no problems, and loading the various versions of the 757 went off without a hitch. I did two flights and am satisfied of the current state of the aircraft. As it clearly states on CS's webpage, the included flight model is the one that comes with the default FS9 747, hence most of the flight modes are currently not available. However, using default FS9 commands, the plane is perfectly flyable, the one caveat being that ILS approaches can only be flown via the nav/gps switch mode that comes with the default FS9 GPS. The plane is heavy on framerates, both in the 2d and virtual cockpit panel, so you probably need a beefy system to run everything well. I've posted a number of unedited screenshots over at the screen shot forum. Obviously, only Blocks D and F will upgrade this plane to specs. But, as I've said, it's flyable, and there is nothing wrong with enjoying the great eye candy and great animations. ricardo
