REV 2.4.16 of GNS430 V2 Won't capture GPS Course

I have had the earlier versions of the V2 GNS430 working great on my FSX Steam sim, but when I upgraded to 2.4.16 just recently, the GPS stopped working.  It will not send the proper control signals to my Megett AP.  Plane just flies off in a random direction.  What could be the problem?

the first problem is this thread is not in the right forum (changed now).
