FSX Demo windowed mode fuzzy?

Anyone know why the windowed mode in FSX is fuzzy? IE - it seems to not use the same reslution as the full screen mode. My LCD is 1280x1024 and so is the setting in FSX. Why does my screen get all fuzzy in windowed mode? FS9 was not this way, I prefer windowed mode because I can get better FPS and smoothness....edit: it seems fine now that I set it to windowed mode, then restarted FSX demo, its a clear and crisp as full screen...weird...edit again: it seems if you switch betwen the two (ALT+ENTER) the windowed mode gets fuzzy again :( :(
