December 1, 20196 yr Hey there, So I have this problem with gsx in FlyTampa YSSY. Whenever I land, pretty much only the intl terminal gates are available in the gsx menu. I was thinking I may be an outdated file or something (in which case where could I get a newer version?), but it's quite annoying when I'm not flying intl. Also, when I want to load up in Sydney, I can access all the airport positions from the P3D menu, so I'm pretty sure the problem isn't with the FlyTampa scenery. I've only got the base GSX, and the scenery is working wih OrbX FTX Global. Thanks for your help !
December 2, 20196 yr Are the non international gates not available because they are occupied by another a/c, or unavailable because they are too small for your a/c? I'm guessing your problem is the latter since you can use the P3D menu to position the aircraft to the desired gates. Try this. Use the P3D menu to position your a/c at one of the gates that you believe should be available. Make sure engines are shut down, and that the parking brakes are set. Try to use the GSX menu to attach the jetway or attempt to board passengers. If the parking is too small for your a/c, GSX will give you a message saying so. If it is, simply use the Alt key to bring up the menu bar at the top of the screen, and use the GSX 'customize airport positions' to open up the GSX Customization screen. Make sure the correct parking position is selected on the left side. Now, next to where it says "Max allowed wingspan", you will see a little button with an airplane on it. Note the current max wingspan, and click on the airplane. The max wingspan number should increase to the wingspan of your airplane. The number in the box should have increased. Save your changes, slew your plane out of the parking spot, and try to select it as your arrival gate as usual. It should work.
