December 21, 20196 yr I am definitely a newb with the RXP GPS Products. But I have a problem... I have just installed RXP 530 and 430 on Prepar3d V4.5. All is working fine as popup instruments. The problem however is that I am trying to interface to a RealSimGear GPS interface. According to the instructions there should be a "Settings Panel" with a checkbox to allow RXP to intercept the standard GPS commands. The only menu for RXP that I have is "Setup Aircraft" which installs the RXP products to the panel with no issues. The Setup Menu is non existent..... Any Ideas on where I went wrong on this? Thanks, David

Thanks, David I am another user. First, how much of the RXP User Manual have you read? You can find the manual via the Windows Start Menu under Reality XP. The setup menu you are looking for is accessed with a Shift + Right-Click on the very top edge of the RXP GNS bezel. That is explained on page 5 of the manual. If the Shift + Right-Click does not work on the gauge in the virtual cockpit then use that area of the pop up gauge. David The User Guide is comprehensive so I recommend spending some time with it. The gauges, as in real life, are quite sophisticated. The interface is to the Garmin Trainer, which closely mirrors the Garmin gauge. So adjust your expectation timescale accordingly. For comparison, I purchased a new BMW X3 SUV back on the 1st of August and I am still learning about the interactive vehicle controls, and entertainment and navigation systems.
