December 31, 20196 yr I need some help. I have a new computer build - ASUS Z390-E, i9900K, 32GB RAM, EVGA RTX 2060 card. I have a recurring (i.e., never completed a flight) CTD issue when the GoFlight Config s/w is used. I'm using version 2.28 downloaded fresh from the GoFlight website. I have the follow modules: MCP PRO, EFIS, GF-LGT II, a 166 four unit COMM & NAV package, and a 46 multifunction XPDR/ADF etc. unit. Event Viewer shows the following information: Applicaiton Event ID 1000 Error: Faulting application name: Prepar3D.exe, version: 4.5.13.32097, time stamp: 0x5d8abf93 Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 10.0.18362.418, time stamp: 0x99ca0526 Exception code: 0xc0000374 Fault offset: 0x00000000000f9269 Faulting process id: 0x2da8 Faulting application start time: 0x01d5c023470d67bf Faulting application path: H:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Prepar3D.exe Faulting module path: C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll Report Id: f51a2e9f-bd62-480d-b112-19da7a358028 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: The Exception Code is a Heap Error. It seems to have something to do with the USB connection and the GoFlight Config software. I can force a CTD in most cases by unplugging and re-plugging in the USB connection to my COMM/NAV/XPNDR unit. The error is always the same. I did not this issue with my previous computer, although occiasionally the COMM/NAV/XPNDR unit would drop off, in which case I would unplug/re-plug the USB connection. I flew a flight without GoFlight Config installed and just use the Pollypot software. There were no issues nor a CTD event. the EFIS and MCP worked as normal. The landing gear control would only raise the gear to the neutral position (PMDG NGXu) and not go to full "up" position. I could get only COMM 1 and NAV 1 to work using the defaults. I could probably eventually program COMM 2 and NAV 2. I didn't try the ADF. I'm going to post this to GoFlight as well as trouble ticket. The GoFlight Config software appears to be the common link. I did drop back one vesion to 2.2.7, that didn't help. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly apprecaited! Thanks & Happy New Year! Rich Boll Richard Boll Wichita, KS

January 1, 20206 yr Author Thanks Tony P! It sounds like Ray's problem might be the same as mine. I have D-Link powered Hub as well running my GoFlight GF166. I could be having the same problem. Going to do some experiments! Thanks! Rich Richard Boll Wichita, KS
