Hello Forum 

I just updated the garmin 430 reality XP software to version 2.4.16.1. To practice DME arch around a fix/VOR I use the GNS 430 OBS functionality with the distance from the fix/vor to fly the arch/circle.  After I updated the software I noticed the OBS feature was working differently. I can no longer change the DTK using the CDI on Nav 1.  Now I have to set the DTK using the GNS knobs and once it’s set you can’t change it unless you cancel the current OBS DTK.   I’m thinking I need to change a setting on the GNS so the DTK can dynamically change when I change the course on NAV1/CDI in OBS mode.

Seems to me it might be best to ask about this on the Reality XP forum if you haven't already done so.

I figured out the issue. I basically have to go to the Reality XP configuration panel and select connect HSI/OSB (input). In the past I never had to reconfig reality XP after a update.
