January 4, 20206 yr Hi, one thing I'm wondering for a long time now with my setup is the calibration of my game controllers (or the lack thereof). I have a Saitek Cyborg X joystick and Thrustmaster TRFP rudders. Both of them seem to loose their calibration on driver level every time I shut down Windows (I run Win10). If I start P3D or DCS World (both exactly the same behaviour), all the joystick and rudder axis respond erratic and very jumpy. To get back good and smooth axis response, I have to move all axis full positive and negative travel. Then everything is okay and I can go flying, as if in the background the controllers get self-calibrated by doing this. Because it's this way since forever, I'm used to it and can live with it. But it would still be nice if the calibration is kept, especially if starting with running engines or in the air. I know of one fellow simmer who is experiencing the same thing. Is this something common? Do I have to accept it or is there something that can be done? Thanks! cheers, NiIs U.AMD 5800X3D | 32GB DDR4 RAM @ 3200MHz | RTX 4070 12GB @ 1920x1050px
