Non-functioning Garmin 295?

The garmin 295 GPS unit that is included with the Piper Warrior III by G.K. for FS2002 appears to be non-functioning. When I call it up there is nothing in the display screen and none of the buttons work. Is it, in fact, non-functioning or do you have to turn it on (and if so, how)?Alternatively, can the Garmin 295 unit be replaced by another GPS (like the Garmin 500a)? How is this done?Any help would be appreciated!
