January 31, 20206 yr Howdy! I own the GNS 530 since yesterday and wanted to fly missions generated by the plugin mission-x. Mission-x makes sure that if there is a GPS device in the airplane/helicopter, the path to be flown is shown as a line in the GPS device. This also works quite well with GPS devices already built into the aircraft, but not with the GNS 530 from Reality XP. Does anyone know what you could do to make the generated missions appear in the GNS 530 from Reality XP? Thanks in advance for your help and many greetings from Germany Gunter Edited January 31, 20206 yr by RXP
February 29, 20206 yr Hi Gunter, I'm sorry for not answering sooner, I've just noticed your post in the middle of the others. There are many reasons for this, some practical, others just common sense: X-Plane Navigation/GPS SDK is very very limited for 3rd party plugins and provides the strict minimum The GNS device navigation capabilities are much more sophisticated (type of legs, constraints etc...) The GNS device is not an EFIS merely displaying another source data. The GNS device is a navigator which is managing the route you're flying and feeds it to external EFIS type displays. Having said this there are solutions available: Make X-Mission export its route in a GNS flight plan file format Import the flight plan in the GNS Edited February 29, 20206 yr by RXP
