Aircraft not showing in FSX aircraft menu

Featured Replies

Ive transfered some of my FS9 aircraft into FSX and I am having problems of them showing in the aircraft menu even though they were showing in FS9. The aircraft that are show in FS9 but not in FSX are posky 767-200 and 757-200 and Overland A330-300.Mike

Hi,We'd have to know exactly how you transferred them. Did you put them into the simobjects/airplanes folder? Do each of them have a panel folder? Do you have ANY (ALL?) listed at the top of the Select Aircraft screen?Hope this helps,--Tom GibsonCal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.comFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.comDrop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___

Hey Tom, I'm having the same problem with the last beta. I've dragged and dropped a couple and no show in the menu. I installed Project Fokker F-100 by pointing it to FSX aircraft and no show in the menu. Tried the same thing with another aircraft that had a self installer with the same results. I installed my Aeroworx King Air using the same method with no problem at all. Looked at the aircraft config with the two that didn't show in the menu and came up blank. Craig

Hi,Sorry, can't help with planes with installers. My suggestion is install to a temp folder, and then move the various parts to the correct locations in FSX. Since most locations have changed, I assume that certain parts are not going where they should. Also, some won't work because they are hard coded to look in certain locations in FS, and they are no longer there. One thing to try is to add an FSX/Aircraft folder to the list in the fsx.cfg file, and then install into there.Hope this helps,--Tom GibsonCal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.comFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.comDrop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___
