moving map function

Question:

is it true,moving map function only with the aproach charts all other maps show a sign in the right bottom corner, for example the apron chart of an airport. or  is it since the last updates???

the first one shows a chart without connection, i guess the symbol at the right corner mean this

and the approach chart shows my aircraft on the chart, as moving symbol:

i am not shure that i had this phenomen before the last 2 updates.

it seems that it is a garmin trainer problem, when i use the trainer only i have the same issue. a full functional chart moving map would be so nice

I'd say it is a Garmin GTN feature instead, unless someone tells us it is a trainer bug and the real GTN do display a moving airplane icon on a taxi chart.

Please note: the taxi 'map' is the SafeTaxi database while the approach is the FliteChart database. They are both provided for different uses and probably have different capabilities on the GTN.
