February 12, 20206 yr Commercial Member I've been battling stuttering with ChasePlane for months now in P3Dv4, unfortunately. Panning is choppy, even with advanced features off; and default view movement appears to be MUCH smoother. Been pulling my hair out adjusting affinity settings, CPU priority, reinstalling, translucent window, G-Sync/V-Sync, compatibility settings, run as admin, disable full screen optimization, etc. While this isn't a cure-all, I accidentally stumbled upon something that seems to help a little bit. Minimizing the ChasePlane program itself to the Windows task tray seems to noticeably, and more importantly with reproducibility, lessen the stutters. Currently using v1.1.65. Again, some stutters and choppiness are still there but it certainly is an improvement on my system while I continue to try and troubleshoot or isolate what the issue here is. Just thought I'd share with the community. Something to try, and your mileage may vary of course.
