February 18, 20206 yr Hi Scott, When I recently updated to Linda version 3.1.1 from my previous version of Linda I found several but not all of my switch and/or button assignments stopped working across several aircraft. When I reverted back to my previous saved "Modules" folder all was well. I followed the process of copying the new Module folder into the P3D folder and accepted the overwrite of the new files as I had done in the past and it always worked flawlessly. After some investigation of the issue and looking at the files that were overwritten I found the update overwrote my "lib-user.Lua" file and therefore all my custom Lua user files no longer worked. Once I copied back my original "lib-user.Lua" file into the Linda > Libs folder all is well. I seem to recall in the past the updates files when copied into the existing folders didn't overwrite the user lib or am I mistaken and we always had to copy back that original file? February 20, 20206 yr Hi Joe Thank you for highlighting this issue and your analysis. The lib-user.lua should not overwrite any existing file created or modified by the user. I will ensure that this does not happen in the next release.
