P3D v4.5+ on an MSI GE75 laptop?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

Since I don't have enough space to have a desktop PC, I was wondering If anyone has any suggestions/experience with gaming laptops.

I'm planning on buying an MSI GE75 with the following specs:

             - Intel i7-9750h (2.6ghz to 4.5ghz)

             - 16gb ram 2666

             - Nvidia RTX 2070 or 2080

             - 512 ssd + 1tb HDD

Will it run p3d v4 decently enough?

Thank you very much for your time.

I think it will run smoothly enough. Please take a look at my signature with the specs of my gaming laptop. I have P3Dv4.5hf2 also installed and it runs perfectly well.

The only suggestion to you is to look for a different brand. I had a MSI gaming laptop that lasted only 2 years. I first had a problem with the included SSD C:\drive that completely died after 1 year of use, several keys lost their cover surface, one of the screen hinges broke up so I had to keep my screen fully open for the rest of its short life, and lastly it had a BIOS failure after two years and now is at the garbage.

That's why I changed to ASUS-CUK (Computer Upgrade King), hopefully it will last enough.

Cheers, Ed
