October 13, 200619 yr got fs x this morn,,day off release in the UK...installed it and activated it no probs....took about 20 mins.prob like most people i striaght away went to my home airport...Liverpool EGGP...ran the sim....oh no i was sat on the tarmac in a cessna without a building...terminals or autogen in site.so into the settings i went everything was set to low...i was fearing the worst....i moved the sliders about to approx what i was trying in the demo....back to my flight...hey presto terminals...trees and building....and a healthy 20+ frames.i have an AMD 4000....1 gig ram....nvidia 6800GT...im happy...i will try the few autogen fixed people have said,,,they worked in the demo for me so as i get a bit of sparetime i will try them.A couple of nags now from me about Livrpool EGGP....if you take off runway 9 use the cessna although aircraft has no bearing...start climbing...as you near the edge of the river mersey still on runway heading there is a stutter...the same stutter that was always present in fs 9....admittedly nothing major...but knowong the area i thought a new version would be diff...to me not knowing the workings of the sim i have to presume its the same code or whatever as FS 9.The 2nd thing is runcorn bridge take off eggp r/w 9...turn slightly possibly 080...the bridge comes up....now fs 9 it wasnt there till m/soft brought the patch out for the bridges....but it was always in the wrong place the legs of the bridge miss the land,,,AGAIN a small moan....and i found a freeware fix...but at least in fs x its there already but again its off centre....but the other big problem with it is the bridge is about 100ft in the air ????......next to the real world bridge is a railway bridge...in fs x thats a painted line across the mersey...on the water....hehe hope the trains arnt electric..it might cause a few sparks....anyway tiny probs i know...but up to now the sim looks rally good FOR ME.Andrew
