March 11, 20206 yr Everyone, We will be making this version more along the lines of our KJAX2019 Edition release. What is planned: 1. Replace all the jetways with painted faded turquoise. 1a. Completely new texturing of all concourse buildings. 2. Replace the tarmac concrete.2a. New lines and dirt on the concrete. Also nightmap. 3. Place light poles as needed. 4. Make stairs leading up to building entry/exits. 5. Ground clutter. Mainly recycling the KJAX vehicles, maybe repainted if needed for any specific airline. 6. Remove the old 747 and Air Jamaica MD, those have been gone for years. Not sure if those construction cranes are needed or not. (EASY.) 7. Probably add the donated Fedex 727 to where it is presently parked. Used to be parked out on the remains of runway 17/35 that has been removed. 8. Update the afcad. Most of this is already done. A lot of military parking will be addressed. 9. See about removing rwy 17/35. Just a heads up as we plow forward. This project likely will take longer to complete than initially assessed as we focus on making this more along the lines of our JAX release. Thank you all who are interested.
