March 21, 20206 yr I've deactivated all add-ons through the add-ons.xml method, and even when selecting a default airport with a default aircraft, sometimes the select airport screen hangs when I try to change airports. Windows Event Viewer only shows this: The program Prepar3D.exe version 4.5.13.32097 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel. March 21, 20206 yr Moderator Rename your Prepar3d.cfg file and restart P3D. It will generate a new one. See if that fixes it. If not, delete the contents of the Shaders folder. I don’t recall its precise location but I think it’s under Program Data\Lockheed Martin. Ray (Cheshire, England). March 21, 20206 yr Author I've done both and it still doesn't seem to work. It appears only some airports are causing the hang. Once one hangs, I can't change to another airport. Offending airports so far I've noticed are OMAA, VTSP, KLAX.
March 21, 20206 yr It does hang a while but eventually comes back. I have this since using REX Environment. After the wait it jumps back to the select airport screen as many time as I had selected it before. Will report if I find a way to correct this. Hans
