GTN 750 in Fly This Sim???

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum and have a huge question.

I have a BATC approved simulator at home. Fly This Sim brand. Touch Trainer VX. It is all touch screen and has the Garmin 530 in it. I have real planes with Garmin 750's in them.

This makes it almost totally useless software wise for me since I have to use a touchscreen to do button turns and pushes. Also the 750 is much more user friendly.

The sim uses X Plane 10. Built-in panels for each model of plane. Many panels for each plane. Glass and analog.

My question is this. Can this product integrate into the FTS software in place of the 530/430?

I believe the build software is Simavio?

Any help to integrate this into the panel would be useful. And I would gladly purchase a 750/650 combo.

Hi,

The Reality XP GTN 750/650 Touch for X-Plane is a X-Plane plugin running in-sim (similarly for our FltSim version).

Using the RXP software on the FTS panels would be possible if these panels are just 'extra screens' per Windows 'multi screen' point of view. Otherwise, it would require FTS to get the RXP screen bits and display them and there is no 'pre-defined' way to do so.

FTS is proprietary. They design their own screens with many layouts.

You should visit the site and link thru to the panels that they have. https://flythissim.com/GetDatasheetForm.html  Also, you may be able to cut a deal to work with them. I know for a fact that they have a large group of people wanting the new Garmin products.

Thanks for the reply
