Bajasim?

Recommended Posts

Does anybody know if Bajasim, author of Cabo San Lucas MMSD, is still in business? I have tried contacting them via Facebook and email with no response. The problem I am having is that the entire airport seems to be offset by 3-4 degrees, For instance, if you select "Active Runway" in the airport dialogue, you end up off the runway by a wing length or two (regardless of the aircraft selected). And all the approaches (on both ends of the runway) are offset even though in real life they are not (i.e. if the approach heading is 165 you need to fly 161 or so in no-wind conditions). I have checked the approaches in ADE and the headings in ADE match the Jepp charts. I am using the default, un-updated, nav data. I haven't got a clue as to how to fix this problem in ADE.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

Many thanks!

P.

Is it possible there’s another AFCAD file active?

Hi Dave: Thanks so much for the idea. I use Littlenavmap to check for duplicates. Here is what it says:

Scenery

Default Terrain

E:\Prepar3D v4\Scenery\World\scenery\00D_ALT.BGL

0202 Base

E:\Prepar3D v4\Scenery\0202\scenery\APX18230.bgl

Baja Sim Cabo San Lucas MMSD

E:\Prepar3D v4\Addon Scenery\Bajasim SJDX\scenery\00D.bgl

Global AI shipping traffic

E:\Prepar3D v4\Scenery\World\scenery\00D_ALT.BGL

It doesn't look like there are duplicates. One thing I forgot to mention was that the default MMSD (i.e. not Bajasim's) works fine. However, once Bajasim's is loaded we are offset again.

Regards,

P.
