I have read the manual, but either I have missed this part or its not there.

 

When I select pushback and the map appears after setting where I want the aircraft to pushback to, how do i cancel the map and it starts the pushback.

 

what key cancels the map view please

Hey Darren,

You mean the "top-down map view in the simulation" (not the airport map window) right?...if so, then you just need to close the "Airport Chart Viewer" window which is minimized...that will get you back to the Virtual Cockpit. however, in P3Dv4, the map view will remain in the views cycle. We are finding a way to remove from your views cycle automatically. There is a way to manually remove it, by going to your "Views" menu (in P3D window), then "Observer Managerment", then select the "UGCX - Map location" observer, from the list, once it's selected, click on the "Delete Observer" button. That will definitivily remove it. We are trying to find that functionability so we can make it automatically, so user doesn't have to go into this manually at the moment.
