Unable to read file

Featured Replies

I have only had chance to 'play' with FSX Deluxe a short time but on 3 occasions I have had it quit with 'unable to read file' error.FSX disappears from the desktop and task bar but still appears to be running when I look at processes in Task Manager. There is no 'FS encountered an error..' waring that we used to get in FS9.Has anyone else had this error and more to the point is there a solution?Because I have what is now, I suppose, a low end system I suspect FSX is struggling to read or load a scenery file, but that is only a guess. The HD that FSX is installed on was defragged before and after installation.AMD 2500 (Barton core)ATi Radeon 9800Pro (128MB RAM)1MB RAM
