Newbie Installation Issue

Recommended Posts

After installing and registering FS2CREW: ULTIMATE GROUND CREW X the software does not appear on Add-On Menu, but appears on P3D root folder.

I am trying to run it on P3Dv4.4. I have tried a reinstall of the software, but that did not work. Thank you for any advice to get it working.

Edit: Already tried dll.xml fix instructions with no changes.

Thank you for replying.

Yes. The installer detects the correct P3D root folder location.

What is the correct location of the dll.xml file?

What is the use of the dll64.xml file?

Trying a clean install again today. Thank you.

The DLL.xml for P3D v4 is located here.

C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4

The DLL.xml is a finicky document... if it has any corruption, it will cause things not to load.

I'm pretty sure the problem is your DLL.xml.

Send me a support ticket if you still can't get it to work.

Sounds good.

After a clean install post flight, I can see UGCX on the add-on menu.

Unfortunately, I can't check it for functionality until next week. I will send a support ticket as suggested in case there are further problems. You may close this thread.

Thank you.
