GTN650/750 black screens X-Plane 11

Featured Replies

For several weeks, I have been unable to get GTN 650 or 760 screens to appear on either the pop-ups or on in-panel GTN screens. My GNS plugins are working fine. I have re-installed RXP GTN 650/750 several times, and the installer says that I am up to date. However, I am not prompted to activate the license by the installer.

I have uninstalled the complete set of RXP programs from my PC, including the Garmin trainers. I removed the "\Programs Files(x86)\RealityXP" folder after doing the Windows uninstall. I also deleted the rxpGTN folder from the X-Plane 11\Resources\plugins folder.

I reinstalled the GTN from scratch, including reinstalling the Garmin trainers. Again, the RXP GTN installer did not prompt me for a license key. After running X-Plane again, here are the log files:

The "rxpGtnSim.dll.log" says this:

The "rxpGTN.xpl.log" file says this:

Any clues? Thanks

Hi,

This is telling the GTN trainer can't open a file handle to the 'EEPROM' files located here:

"C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Trainers\GTN\nonvol"

This could be a problem with user account access rights most likely. Can you cross check what files you have there?
