View - left/right axis (pan) works differently in V5 to V4

On my Hotas I use a slider for that axis. With it I can smoothly pan left/right. Bringing the slider to its neutral position in V4 also resets the pan to its exact forward position.

 

Now, in V5 the pan does not reset by itself.
