April 17, 20206 yr Hi, I’m sorry if this has already been answered but I can’t find anything on the forum. I have just purchased and installed the GTN 750 in multiple aircraft from big jets to small Cessnas. What I would like to know is can I save the customisations (such as topo, airspace, or auto zoom) to each individual aircraft. The reason I would like to do this is for an IFR and VFR setup, there are multiple customisations I would like to make to which differ between the two. I see the settings/customisations are normally stored in a “virtual memory” file in the trainer folder, can this be saved per aircraft?
April 17, 20206 yr Hi, This is not implemented per-aircraft, rather, per-device. It is an idea worth considering and not hard to implement in itself, but we really can't allocate the time to implementing and testing this right now. The easiest for you would be just maintaining different banks of non volatile memory files, and swap these prior starting a flight with an aircraft. You could achieve this in copying the files from your file bank, to the default embedded memory folder, then, copy them back to the file bank after a flight (so that you keep the changes for the next flight).
