I just purchased and installed the GNS 530w .  I enabled the plug-in and followed instructions to add it to the cessna 172.  When I press enter at the self check screen, Xplane freezes.  I have tried rebooting and restarting X-plane and it happens every time. Any thoughts on troubleshooting?

Is this happening when pressing any ENT key during boot, or only after the POST TEST screen (the one which helps validating the HSI needles are displaying correct deiavtions)?

Can you please post the content of the RXP log files? (see User's Manual for file/path)

Can you try renaming the checklist.txt file to something else and see whether this file is causing the crash?
